Great font choice, but it's to big ;)
I wouldn't reccomend making it smaller, because that font seems to look well large. I'd say search over www.dafont.com under the Script section for a simple caligraphy font :D
Good Luck!

Hi Friends,
I am a green card holder, becoming eligible for citizenship in April 2009. My fiance has been in the US for the past 2 plus years on F1. She completes her MS in December this year .We plan to visit our home country in August this year and get married. I thought this was a relatively uncomplicated case till I read in some forum recently that marriage to a permanent resident can be a barrier to being admitted to the U.S. in F-1 status. This is because such a marriage obliterates the "non-immigrant" intent required for F-1 entrants. This could very easily jeopardize her plan to re-enter in F-1 status.
Any thoughts or advice on this? Appreciate all the help.
Thanks a lot.
It is better to register you marriage here in the US, appy for your spouse Adjustment of status and travel on AP to your home country to get married. The other choice is to wait till you become a citizen and then get married.

Dear Madam,
My wife is also in the same situation, I am not sure if you have found the response from anyone, but i would really appreciate if you can share your findings about the same question..
Regards,
-AShu
You need to carry both passports. The VISAs on the older passport remain valid unless they were explicitly voided.

Hi All,
Me and my wife are on EAD. We want to open LLC. Right now I am doing consulting in IT firm. My wife is not working anywhere. What are TAX and immigration consequences if we open LLC on my wife's name?
Questions we have..
1. Can I become parnter easily once my status got changed from EAD to GC?
2. Once my wife start LLC, can she work for another company e.g. Software consulting?
3. What would be tax bracket for my owner of LLC?
Thanks,
dj
You can start LLC or 'C' corp on EAD. No consequences. You cannot start 'S' corp on EAD. See this:
http://immigrationvoice.org/forum/forum72-ac21-portability-after-180-days-of-485-filing/13349-ead-can-you-register-a-llc-inc.html
1.) Yes, but you cannot work for it without filing H1 if you are on H1 status. You can even become a partner on EAD.
2.) Yes
3.) Depends on your state of registration. Contact Department of State in your state of residence. In Texas you have to pay $750/yr even if you are not doing any business in LLC.

NumbersUSA obtained a summary of the "compromise" negotiated among Republicans Tuesday night. The language is theirs, not ours. We do not know how discussions between Republicans and Democrats have changed the plan, or if it is still a factor in the debate.
Hagel/Martinez Amendment
Background:
The Hagel/Martinez Substitute contains all the provisions of the Specter Amendment - including the border security, interior security and employer enforcement provisions from the Frist bill - but makes the following 3 changes:
1. It proposes an alternative to Title VI, Subtitle A of the Specter substitute (which deals with the illegal population living in the U.S.)
2. It temporarily increases the number of employment based green cards from 290,000 (as in the Specter Substitute) to 450,000. This increase from 290,000 to 450,000 would sunset after ten years.
3. It would give mid-term illegal immigrants (defined below) priority in applying for green cards over future immigrants entering as temporary workers.
The Hagel/Martinez Amendment is based on legislation (S.1919) introduced by Senator Hagel in October 2005.

Cool picture.
What type of phone do you have that has that kind of image quality?
Exif data shows:
HTC - MDA_compact_IV .. which is the Tmobile name for the HTC Diamond :P.
It has a 3.2 megapixel camera. I do however believe that it doesnt really matter what camera you use, if you cant make good pictures with a pocket camera then a $2000 camera wont help either ;)

Another substitute case...
Any reason you went for substitute labor instead of your own?
I applied for I-140 in July 2007 using a substitute labor EB2 (from a different company) with a priority date of Nov 2005 and it got approved in May 2008.
During the same July fiasco, my employer at that time applied for I-485 with a priority date of August 2006.
I didn't apply for priority date porting after the substitute labor I-140 got approved because I didn't have the approval notice.
I read somewhere that even though I didn't apply for porting of the date, USCIS will consider the earlier date. How far is this true? How can I find out my correct priority date?
Thank you
Note: I already posted this in 'August Bulletin Out - EB2 India 01MAR06' but discussion there is totally different. So, posted a new thread.

Rajiv Khanna from immigration.com held two conference calls on going back to school with a pending green card application. Not sure if your particular situation is covered but you can listen to the conference call recordings on his website. I believe these were in the April/Mat time frame.

Hi,
My wife is on H4 and willing to apply for H1-B. Her educational qualifications
1.)High school education(12 yrs)
2.)BCA(Bachelor of Computer Applications)- 3 yrs
3.)2.5 yrs of IT experience
4.)She's also doing her M.Sc(Master of Science) in Information Technology. Currently in 2nd year and will be completing by end of 2006. (She may not have the degree certificate by April 2007).
Is she eligible to apply for H1-B for next year 2007
Thanks,
